Citizen is now the running backs coach at Lake Charles College Prep High School where he coaches his son TreVonte' Citizen, who is one of the highest recruited running backs in the country. So far, the senior Trailblazers star running back has received offers from Mississippi State, Penn State, Tennessee, Virginia, Maryland, Arkansas, Tulane, Louisiana Tech, LSU, Colorado, Southern Miss, Texas A&M, Georgia Tech, ULL, Texas, Arizona State, Memphis, Marshall, McNeese State, Auburn, Southern, USC, Michigan, Ole Miss, Washington State, and Grambling. Coach Citizen talks about his playing career at McNeese State, what makes his son a special running back, going through the recruiting process both as a player as well as a father, upcoming recruiting visits his son is taking, and of course, the big time football program that Lake Charles College Prep is continuing to be.

For Wednesday's episode of The Sports Scouting Report Podcast With Lee Brecheen, Lee gets a Westbank representative on the show in John Ehret High School head football coach Reggie Rogers. Coach Rogers has had a great career both as a player and as a coach. As a player, Rogers played running back both at Bonnabel High School and Nicholls State. After his playing days, Rogers also was an offensive coordinator at Helen Cox High School for a couple of seasons before becoming the head coach at Bonnabel High School where he defeated program power Destrehan High School twice. After his coaching stint at Bonnabel, Rogers was the running backs coach at John Ehret High School before being named head coach last season. Despite all the circumstances last season and being a new head coach at a program, the Patriots still managed to have a stellar year winning eight games including a playoff game. Now, on today's episode, Coach Rogers talks about his background, the best players he has coached and played again, expectations for the Patriots this season, the team's tough schedule in 2021, and much more!

For Friday's episode of The Sports Scouting Report Podcast With Lee Brecheen, Lee interviews one of Louisiana High School Football's coaching legends in Frank Monica. Coach Monica just announced his retirement after 51 years in the coaching business. Over his Hall of Fame career, Coach Monica has won 284 games, three different state championships with three different schools (Lutcher High School in 1978, Riverside Academy in 1983, and St. Charles Catholic in 2011), and most notably, led the St. Charles Comets the past 22 years to 12 semifinal playoff appearances along with six state championship appearances. Coach Monica also had college coaching experience at Tulane during the 1990's as well. Coach Monica tells Lee many stories over his marvelous career as well as the best players he has coached over his career. Finally, Coach Monica talks about his coaching family that has followed in his footsteps and how his nephew Wayne Stein is going to continue the winning tradition at St. Charles Catholic.

Coach McNally has had an incredible 55 year career in coaching with the last 41 years coaching in the NFL. Over the years, Coach McNally has coached for the Cincinnati Bengals, the Carolina Panthers, the New York Giants, and the Buffalo Bills. Currently, he is a consultant for the Bengals. Also, Coach McNally was portrayed in the famous sports movie "We Are Marshall" as he was a coach on the Marshall University football team that was reconstructed after a tragic plane crash accident. On today's episode, Coach McNally reflects on his long and successful career, the great names he has been around with including Forrest Gregg, Sean Payton, and coaching Hall of Famer Anthony Muñoz. Coach McNally also gives his best offensive linemen he has ever seen play or been around as well as break down the current Bengals offensive line along with the emergence of young superstar quarterback Joe Burrow. Finally, Coach McNally gives advice to young and upcoming offensive linemen that are coming out of high school.
