Coach Almond is one of the greatest Louisiana high school basketball coaches of all time as over his 41 seasons as a head coach, the 2017 Louisiana High School Sports Hall of Fame inductee has won 932 games and three state championships over his incredible career. Today, Coach Almond talks about his favorite moments over his coaching career, building the Woodlawn Panthers into a winning basketball program, some of the best players he has coached, his undefeated 2003 state championship squad, and finally, gives his thoughts on what is going on in college basketball today.

For Monday's episode of The Sports Scouting Report Podcast With Lee Brecheen, Lee catches with former Alexandria High School/LSU/Northwestern State/Green Bay Packers quarterback Craig Nall. The longtime signal caller talks about his journey from LSU to Northwestern State to his professional career, being in a quarterback competition at LSU with two other NFL quarterbacks, what made Brett Favre so great when backing the NFL Hall of Famer during his time at Green Bay, and what he is doing now. Today, Craig Nall is using his playing experience as a quarterback instructor at the Elite 11, which is the nation's premier quarterback competition. Over the years, Nall has trained some of the best quarterbacks in the nation including some of the quarterbacks that are battling in LSU's current quarterback battle in Myles Brennan, Max Johnson, TJ Finley, and Garrett Nussmeier. Craig Nall also talks about working with former Super Bowl winning quarterback Trent Dilfer, training Notre Dame's Ian Book, breaks down some of sleeper quarterbacks in the upcoming NFL Draft, his upcoming events including the Elite 11 and QBIQ Shootout Competition. For Friday's episode of The Sports Scouting Report Podcast With Lee Brecheen, Lee caught up with Nicholls State Head Baseball Coach Seth Thibodeaux. Coach Thibodeaux has done a marvelous job in turning the Nicholls baseball program around into one of the best in the Southland Conference. The 2014 Southland Conference Coach of the Year has also sent 18 of his players to the professional leagues over the last eight years. He has also set a high mark in academics as the Colonels baseball squad has averaged at least a 3.0 GPA seven seasons in a row. Coach Thibodeaux talks about his favorite memories coaching in Thibodaux, reaching over 200 wins in his career, this season's Nicholls baseball squad, upcoming games, and much more!

Coach Young talks about the rich tradition at South Lafourche High School, which was started by the likes of Gil Matherne, Bob Brunet, Ed Orgeron, Bobby Hebert, and plenty of others as well as coaching for the Tarpons. Coach Young also reflects back on his playing days when he was the quarterback at Hahnville High School and at Southeastern Louisiana University. In speaking of his alma mater, Coach gives his thoughts on the job Frank Scelfo has done with the program and how their quarterback Cole Kelley has played in this spring season. Finally, Coach Young talks about his current seniors and next year's South Lafourche football team.

Coach Jenkins has had an amazing coaching career, which dates back to 1964. Whether it has been at the high school, college, or NFL level, he has done it all. Along the way, some of his notable stops have been at South Carolina, Southern Miss, Oklahoma State, Florida, LSU, Mississippi State, Auburn, the Philadelphia Eagles, USC, and most notably, LSU where he has worked for five different head coaches in Baton Rouge. Coach Jenkins talks about what he is doing now traveling across the country as a consultant. The legendary defensive line coach also talks about some of the great defensive linemen he has worked with recently and finally, promotes the Louisiana Line Camp, which will be entering its 35th year. The offensive/defensive lineman camp is the longest running of its kind in the country and will take place from Saturday, June 19th through Tuesday, June 22nd at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana. For the last 27 years, Coach Phelps has been at Jennings High School including the past 26 seasons being the team's head football coach. With over 200 career victories to his credit, Coach Phelps has made the Bulldogs a competitor each and every season including in 2019 when he led the team to a state championship runner-up finish. Coach Phelps talks about that 2019 season, this previous season, the best players he has coached over his career, and more. Also, Coach Phelps tells stories about how his former star running back Travis Etienne's recruitment took off, becoming a star at Clemson, and is now a projected top NFL Draft prospect. Finally, Coach Phelps talks about how his younger brother Trevor Etienne has a chance to become a big time DI running back himself!

Over the last couple of seasons, the Northwestern State baseball team has been one of the top teams in the Southland Conference. In fact, his 2018 team won the Southland Conference Tournament and made a NCAA Regional. On today's episode, Coach Barbier talks about his current team, the competitive Southland Conference, this weekend's series, growing up around his dad Darren Barbier, who was a former head football coach for Nicholls State, and finally, even talks about the best football players he has seen around his dad.

Coach Fisher is originally from Syracuse, New York and talks about his coaching career, which now puts him in New Orleans, Louisiana. Coach Fisher has also been the head coach at stops like Clark, Hahnville, Lake Area New Tech, Cohen, and most recently, KIPP Renaissance. Coach Fisher also talks about his first season at East Jefferson, some of his star players, and even talks a little East Jefferson football as his son Ahmad Fisher is a 6'4 defensive end on the Warriors football team coached by Frank Allelo. Finally, both Lee and Coach Fisher have some fun in predicting what will happen in March Madness!

Abram is a part of the famous Booty family that is known for quarterbacks including the patriarch of the family in Johnny Booty (Mississippi State) along with his brothers Josh Booty (LSU) and John David Booty (USC). Abram talks about being the lone wide receiver in his family, catching passes from his older brother Josh at Evangel as well at LSU, breaking all kinds of national receiving records during his time at Evangel Christian Academy, the great quarterbacks that came through the program, his time playing at both LSU and Valdosta State, and finally, his son General Booty, who just finished his prep career at Allen High School (Texas) and will be playing quarterback at Tyler Junior College (Texas).
